Weekend Vandalism at Zurakowski Park

Sometime overnight from Friday October 10 to Saturday October 11, significant damage was done to the model Spitfire at Zurakowski Park. This incident has been reported to the OPP - if you have information or footage of the damage taking place, please contact the non-emergency line at 1 888 310-1122 or email bylaw@madawaskavalley.ca.

Every time something in the township is vandalized, it takes time and money away from other services we need to provide - money that comes from your neighbours, your family, and your own taxes. Damaging public assets and spaces is not edgy or heroic - it is selfish and illegal. If you see vandalism in progress, call the police. If you notice vandalism on Municipal owned property, call 613-756-2747 to report it.
