Zoning
Zoning regulations in Madawaska Valley guide how land and buildings can be used and developed. These rules are set through zoning bylaws that reflect long-term goals for growth, development, and community needs.
Zoning bylaws divide land into different zones (such as residential, commercial, industrial, or agricultural) and set rules for what types of buildings are allowed, how tall structures can be, minimum lot sizes and setbacks, and general property use.
