OPP Seeking Detachment Board Provincial Representatives

The Killaloe O.P.P. Detachment Board, which serves the Township of Madawaska Valley, is seeking members.

The boards advise the Ontario Provincial Police detachment commander assigned to the detachment, with respect to O.P.P. services in the catchment area of the board. The Township appoints one member to this board.

Appointees to O.P.P. Detachment Boards should be active members of their community with a general knowledge of O.P.P. Detachment Boards duties and responsibilities and awareness of community safety issues and programs within their local community.
