LEVEL 1 FIRE BAN
The Township is currently under a Level 1 Fire Ban. No permits will be issued. Campfires are allowed.
Exercise extreme caution in these dry conditions. Campfires must be under 2 feet square and are only permitted two hours before sunset to two hours after sunrise. Avoid using fireworks and take care when butting out cigarettes.
Due to elevated levels of bacteria, Lakeshore Beach in Barry's Bay has been posted as unsafe for swimming. For your safety, please do not swim at Lakeshore Beach.
Signs will be posted at the beach. This post will be updated and signs removed when further testing indicates the water is safe for swimming once again.
