Controlled Burn Today at Yard 2

Be advised that the brush pile at Municipal Yard 2, 39844 Combermere Road in Combermere, will be burned today in a controlled setting by the Madawaska Valley Fire Department as a training exercise. Expect to see smoke and emergency vehicles in and around the vicinity today and over the course of the next week.

Each year, the Township accepts brush drop off at Yard 2 for those cleaning up their properties and to avoid unnecessary burning of brush. MVFD then burns the pile as a training exercise.
