Comprehensive Zoning By-Law Update: Open House Information

The Township of Madawaska Valley is undertaking a review of its Comprehensive Zoning By-law in 2025 and 2026.

The Zoning By-law update will implement the policies of the new County of Renfrew Official Plan, address recent changes to the provincial legislation, reflect best practices, and address housekeeping matters. The new Zoning By-law and Zoning Schedules will apply to all lands throughout the Township of Madawaska Valley.

Two Public Open Houses in the Township of Madawaska Valley will be held for members of the public, one in Barry’s Bay and one in Combermere.

The Open Houses are being held to allow for members of the public to ask questions in an informal, drop in setting related to the draft Zoning By-law Update. If you are unable to attend the Open Houses and would like to provide feedback on the Draft Zoning By-law Amendment, the Township will be accepting comments until March 2, 2026.
