Water Levels Expected to Remain Stable in Madawaska Valley

The Township of Madawaska Valley has been fortunate this year to not be impacted by the high water levels and flooding risk seen in other parts of the County. Regardless, the Township continues to monitor water levels, actively participating in freshet calls to receive updates on water levels caused by the spring snowmelt and rainfall.

Kamaniskeg Lake and the Madawaska River are at maximum operating levels and are stable. Residents can anticipate a decline in water levels late Friday into the weekend. Further updates will be provided if necessary.
