The Public Works Department maintains 124 kilometers (km) of gravel and 130 km of hard topped roadways within the Township, and provides year-round maintenance on these roads. There are two public work garages located at:

The Public Works Department is responsible for:
- Snow plowing, sanding, salting, grading and dust control of Township roads
- Maintaining culverts and sidewalks
- Fleet maintenance,
- Maintaining street lights,
- Waste Sites, transfer stations and curbside waste collection
- Parks and boat launches
- Municipal infrastructure
- Entrance permits
