Public feedback is welcome. The Township is committed to continuous improvement and open communication with the public. Feedback is dealt with fairly, in a respectful, transparent manner, and as quickly as possible. We encourage residents to submit compliments or complaints regarding a municipal program, service, facility, or staff member through the Township’s Compliment and Complaints Form available on the Civic Web Portal.

The Township of Madawaska Valley encourages early resolution of complaints in all circumstances. We recommend you first talk directly to the service area or department where you have an issue. You may do so in person, by telephone, by email, or in writing. Most complaints received verbally can be resolved promptly by the department in charge of the service. Anonymous complaints will not be addressed. If a complaint is deemed to be unfounded, a cost recovery hourly rate will be billed to the complainant or a minimum of $100.00, whichever is greater.

We appreciate hearing your positive feedback about the staff and the work of the municipality!
