Outdoor Rinks Open for the Season

See you at the rink!

The outdoor rinks in Combermere and Barry’s Bay are now open and available to use. The rinks are flooded and cleared for use between the hours of 6pm and 10pm (weather dependent), but are open and able to use throughout the day. Shovels are available at each rink should a user group need to do some clearing before staff arrive in the evenings. Combermere’s rink shack is open from 6-9pm, and both rinks are lit between the hours of 5-10pm. Outdoor rink updates are posted regularly throughout the winter months reflecting their status as the weather changes, both here on the Township website, as well as on social media. Rink status is also posted at each rink.

The rinks are free to use, no bookings are required, and users are encouraged to share the space.

The Combermere rink is located behind the Combermere Community Centre at 1095 Farmer Road, and the Barry’s Bay rink is located behind the Paul J Yakabuski Community Centre at 65 Arena Road.
