NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING The Council of the Municipality of the Township of Madawaska Valley will hold a public meeting, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the Municipality’s proposed development charges (D.C.) by-law and underlying background study. All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council (virtually or in-person), and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed Development Charges by-law and background study. The meeting is to be held on: Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. At the Township of Madawaska Valley, Council Chambers 85 Bay Street, Barry’s Bay, ON, K0J 1B0 Those wishing to attend this public meeting can do so either in person or virtually via ZOOM. To obtain a link to join the virtual meeting, please contact Gwen Dombroski by phone: 613-756-2747 ext. 212, or by email: gdombroski@madawaskavalley.ca, no later than 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9th, 2023. The background study is available online on the Municipality’s website, www.madawaskavalley.ca. Copies of the proposed Development Charges by-law and the background study are also available by contacting the Deputy Clerk at the address noted above or by calling 613-756-2747 ext. 212. Interested persons may also express their comments in writing, to the Deputy Clerk, at the above address, or by email at gdombroski@madawaskavalley.ca, by end of day on February 8, 2023.
